Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with at least five years of clerical experience, or one year as Administrative Assistant plus a Bachelor's degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; strong Excel and Word skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to proofread and produce accurate documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams; strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Superintendent and West Texas staff.
  • Manage calendars, travel arrangements, shipping/receiving, and correspondence; prepare event staffing as needed.
  • Process payments, track ProCard logs, reconcile accounts, and maintain financial records.
  • Ensure compliance with UT policies; coordinate with the Austin Business Office as appropriate.
