Job summary

Allegheny Health Network’s Jefferson Hills facility is seeking an experienced RN for the Clinical Decision Unit (DAYS). The CDU is a 10-bed observation unit serving patients with stays under 24 hours, managed by an interdisciplinary team including physicians, NPs, RNs, and techs.

RH nurses assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care; collaborate with the team to ensure patient safety and high-quality outcomes. PA RN licensure or multi-state via eNLC is required; CPR is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Current State of PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• Preferred: certification in specialty area.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in a professional practice setting.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to plan and implement care.
• Delegates tasks based on patient needs and staff skill level.
• Ensures safe environment and adheres to safety protocols.
• Documents assessment data, nursing care plans and interventions.
