Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Obtain Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
• Must meet one of: nationally certified patient care technician; WVU Medicine Patient Care Technician program; current CNA certification issued by state.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report all patient concerns/changes in condition to a nurse.
• Assist RN with admission, transfer, discharge, and general patient care duties.
• Record vital signs and assist with hygiene and patient comfort; track intake/output.
