Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide basic patient care on day shifts. You will assist with bathing, dressing, eating, mobility and toileting, while observing patient conditions.

The role requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent, BLS certification, NH Nursing Assistant license, and 1+ year of clinical experience. Onsite work location is 789 Central Avenue with a 24-hour weekly schedule and hourly pay between $19.47 and $24.40, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Licenses: BLS Certification required.
• New Hampshire LNA license required.
• 1–2 years clinical/medical office or nursing assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record vital signs and weights per policy.
• Provide hands-on patient care and assist with daily activities.
• Assist grooming and personal care for patients/clients.
• Feed or assist patients with meals and hydration per plan.
• Assist physicians and/or licensed nurses with treatments as needed.
• Provide toileting and incontinence care.
• Report changes in patients' conditions to the charge nurse.
