Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide basic patient care, including bathing, dressing, eating, mobility and toileting. You will obtain vital signs, assist with treatments and report changes to the team.

Onsite role with evening shift, 24 hours per week at 789 Central Avenue. Must have a High School diploma or equivalent, BLS certification and NH LNA license; prior clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• BLS Certification required.
• LNA (NH) license required.
• 1–2 years clinical/medical office or Nursing Assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record vital signs and weights per policy.
• Provide hands-on patient/client care.
• Provide grooming and personal care to patients/clients.
• Feed or assist patients with meals and provide additional nourishment and hydration per the care plan.
• Collect and bag soiled linen and deliver to the designated dirty linen area.
• Assist physicians and/or licensed nurses with treatments and procedures as needed.
