Trinity Health's St. Joseph’s Health observation unit seeks a Registered Nurse for a part-time, 12-hour day shift. The role covers a fast-paced short-stay acute unit with diverse cases, equipment training, and emphasis on quality outcomes.

Leadership supports work-life balance and flexible scheduling within our system. Responsibilities include direct patient care, coordination of plans, and maintaining documentation while adhering to NYS standards.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current licensure in the State of New York.
• BSN degree preferred according to NYS requirements.
• Maintains licensures and certifications according to NYS regulations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate, communicate & facilitate optimal care through a digital platform.
• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor and evaluate the patient’s care from admission to discharge.
• Apply clinical knowledge and critical thinking to coordinate and support the plan of care.
• Monitor department quality metrics and ensure documentation in the patient record.
• Provide care in accordance with regulatory standards and ongoing professional development.
