Job summary

Trinity Health's St. Joseph’s Health unit seeks a part-time Registered Nurse for their fast-paced observation services in central New York. You’ll participate in care from admission to discharge, perform core nursing duties, and engage in ongoing education.

The role emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and delivering high-quality patient outcomes in a supportive environment. Qualified applicants will hold NY RN licensure (BSN preferred) and engage in continuous professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current licensure in the State of New York.
• BSN degree preferred according to NYS requirements.
• Specialty credentialing/education per clinical area is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and facilitate optimal provision of care through digital platforms.
• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate the patient’s plan from admission to discharge.
• Utilize clinical knowledge and critical thinking to coordinate and support the plan of care.
• Monitor quality metrics and ensure complete documentation in the patient record.
• Ensure care aligns with NYS regulations and national standards of practice.
• Maintain current knowledge of healthcare economics, trends, and reimbursement methodologies.
