Job summary

Qualifications

• College Diploma in Nursing required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing per IDFPR.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Perform unit-based nursing care following established protocols and the nursing process.
• Conduct initial patient assessment on admission and develop care plans aligned with unit standards.
• Implement and adjust care plans, nursing interventions, and procedures based on patient needs.
• Document care accurately to ensure clear communication for the care team.
• Maintain patient and staff safety by following safety measures and addressing hazards.
• Provide patient education and coordinate with the healthcare team for timely care.
• Support efficient admission/discharge processes and manage care for observation status patients.
