Methodist Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Observation team. The Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, complementing other health care providers.

.6 FTE with rotating day and evening shifts and every other weekend. CPR skills preferred; state registry or LPN student status required to qualify. Benefits include medical and dental insurance, retirement, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Qualifications

• Must be current on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry or be an LPN student or Jr. level nursing student with first quarter clinicals.
• CPR skills preferred
• Rotating day/evening shifts with every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and comfort needs.
• Support care plans and document accurately as required
