Job summary

North Vista Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare Services, is hiring an observation attendant to provide constant visual observation under a Registered Nurse. The role supports a safe, clean environment and communicates patient observations to the nurse in charge with professional conduct.

The position requires basic computer skills, English communication, and eligibility for CNA training within 90 days, plus BLS certification. Full-time days shift available at our North Las Vegas, NV facility.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate in English orally and in writing.
• Within 90 days be eligible to participate in a C.N.A. Training program.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant visual observation of assigned patient under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Assist in providing a safe and clean environment.
• Communicate observations of the patient’s activity and behavior to the assigned nurse on a regular basis.
• Communicate in a professional manner and demonstrate respect for patient, families and other healthcare team members.
• Offer support to peers and staff.
