Job summary

North Vista Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare Services, is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join the MST department in North Las Vegas, NV. You will support patients with daily living activities and assist in delivering safe, compassionate care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

The ideal candidate holds a CNA certificate, current BLS, knowledge of medical terminology, and at least six months of acute care or physician’s office experience.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required.
• Current BLS upon hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

The CNA in the MST department is a certified assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
