Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA is seeking a patient aide to assist licensed staff with restraints application and removal, ambulation, and continuous observation via the Avasys Monitoring System.

You will respond to emergencies, re-direct patients from risk behaviors, and maintain safe, respectful care for all individuals. A High School diploma is required and a strong commitment to customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Able to follow directions.
• Demonstrates dependability, punctuality and flexibility.
• Successfully completes class on role and responsibilities.
• Command of verbal and written English.
• Must visibly demonstrate commitment to customer service by providing timely, positive responses to the needs of all customers including patients, families, co-workers and staff.

Responsabilités

• Provide assistance to licensed staff in the application/removal of restraints.
• Performs patient assistance such as ambulation and mobilization activities safely.
• Recognize patient emergency situations and respond in an appropriate manner.
• Provide continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients via Avasys.
• Will verbally re-direct patients from engaging in risk behaviors.
• Demonstrates knowledge of operational competency of the Avasys Monitoring System.
