Job summary

Baptist Health Southaven seeks a Certified Ultrasound Technologist-OBGYN to perform ultrasound imaging in the Desoto area, aiding diagnosis and treatment according to radiology standards.

The role requires ARDMS/RVT registration with registry proof due within 120 days of graduation and BLS within 14 days of hire; recent sonography experience is preferred. Work is performed on-site in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Registered by ARDMS and/or RVT registry; proof to be available within 120 days of graduation.
• BLS certification required within 14 days of hire.
• Recent experience as a Sonographer is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates understanding of radiologic principles/theory and uses appropriate technique for optimal procedures.
• Develops and implements procedure/treatment plans following hospital protocols.
• Completes required documentation to comply with hospital policies.
• Maintains equipment and treatment rooms in a clean, safe condition.
• Participates in Performance Improvement activities to ensure patient care standards.
• Completes assigned goals.
