Job summary

Baptist is seeking a Radiologic Sonographer to perform imaging procedures according to radiology practice standards and to aid in diagnosis and treatment. The role involves developing and implementing procedure plans, documenting results, and maintaining equipment and work areas for safety.

Ideal candidates will have ARDMS or RVT registration and BLS certification, with recent experience as a sonographer and the ability to obtain registry within 120 days of graduation.

Qualifications

• Registered by ARDMS and/or RVT; proof of registry must be available within 120 days of graduation.
• BLS certification required within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates thorough understanding of radiologic principles/theory and uses appropriate technique and positioning for optimal procedures.
• Develops and implements procedure/treatment plans according to hospital protocols.
• Completes documentation to comply with hospital policies.
• Maintains equipment, rooms, and work areas in a safe condition for patients and staff.
• Participates in Performance Improvement activities to ensure care aligns with standards.
• Completes assigned goals.
