Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science preferred.
• 1 year of telephone triage experience preferred in a medical practice setting.
• Current Illinois RN license required (IDFPR).
• CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Answer patient voicemails and triage per protocol or advise home care.
• Perform telephone assessment and communicate care plans to patients and caregivers.
• Direct high-risk complaints to emergency services when indicated.
• Schedule appointments for non-emergency visits as needed.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and record vital signs and visit reason.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist with procedures and immunizations.
