Responsibilities

• Maintains clinical competency and takes vital signs; performs pre-exam procedures.
• Assesses patient medications, reconciliation, and education needs.
• Assists providers in consultations, procedures, and follow-up care.
• Documents data and billing codes at the end of nursing visits.
• Delegates and prioritizes tasks to non-professional staff to ensure safe care.
• Provides patient/family counseling and education on medications and procedures.
• Answers My Chart messages or calls; performs triage and communicates with the team.
