Qualifications

  • Preferred: Master's in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration.
  • Possible certification in Practice Management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise clinical support, nursing and administrative staff to maintain high standards of patient care and service delivery.
  • Manage daily operations including scheduling, resource allocation, and patient flow to maximize efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare laws and accreditation standards.
  • Serve as liaison between the practice, patients, insurance providers, and external vendors.

About the Role:

The Practice Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of a healthcare practice to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care and smooth administrative functioning. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise and management skills to lead nursing and clinical support staff, coordinate patient services, and implement policies that enhance practice performance. The Practice Manager will be responsible for managing budgets, staffing, and compliance with healthcare regulations, while fostering a collaborative environment among multidisciplinary teams. By analyzing workflow and patient care processes, the manager will identify opportunities for improvement and drive initiatives that optimize operational efficiency. Ultimately, this role ensures that the practice delivers exceptional care while maintaining financial and regulatory standards.

The Practice Manager utilizes clinical knowledge daily to understand patient care needs and guide nursing staff effectively. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for coordinating between clinical teams, administrative personnel, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations. Analytical skills are applied to monitor performance metrics, identify inefficiencies, and implement process improvements that enhance patient outcomes and operational productivity. Financial acumen is used to manage budgets, control costs, and allocate resources wisely to maintain the practice’s fiscal health. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
