Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution.
• Active medical license to practice in California.
• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive OBGYN care to a diverse patient population.
• Conduct deliveries and perform surgeries in collaboration with hospital staff.
• Participate in weekend call duties as scheduled.

OBGYN Physician Opportunity in San Diego

We are the largest community clinic provider of health care to the uninsured in the county and one of the top 10 largest community clinic organizations in the nation. We are also the largest health care safety‑net provider, largest school‑based health care provider and largest comprehensive HIV/AIDS services provider in the San Diego region.

Family Health Centers of San Diego is looking for an OBGYN Physician (Spanish or Arabic fluency is highly preferred). We have a total of 14 OBGYN Physicians.

• Full‑time position.
• Weekend call occurs twice a month.
• Deliveries/surgeries are out of two hospitals with level II and Level III NICUs. Support is given from Rady Children’s (Level IV NICU) if needed.
• Clinic hours are typically Monday‑Friday 8:30 am‑5:30 pm.
• Expect to see approximately 22 patients per day.
