Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Rio Rancho, NM seeks a board-eligible or certified OB/GYN to join our full-scope practice. This role focuses on caring for women across the continuum of care, from routine exams to pregnancy management and childbirth.

The physician will meet new patients, perform exams, participate in call rotations, and collaborate on system-wide health initiatives while maintaining patient relationships and pursuing ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• MD/DO board-eligible or board-certified in OB/GYN with NM license.
• Experience in full-scope OB/GYN care.
• Strong patient communication and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet with new patients to assess symptoms and needs.
• Perform routine exams and manage prenatal care.
• Follow up with patients to monitor conditions.
• Provide care during pregnancy and childbirth.
• Participate in call rotation.
• Make professional medical judgments for patients.
• Oversee patient relationships and contribute to system-wide health initiatives.
• Engage in continued education and professional development.

Job Description:

• Meet with new patients to assess symptoms, needs, and/or problems


• Perform routine exams and check ups based on best practices


• Conduct follow-ups with patients to monitor and track their condition


• Monitor and treat patients during pregnancy and childbirth


• Participate in call rotation


• Makes all professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen.


• Manages and oversees the physician/patient relationship.


• Participates in system-wide health management initiatives.


• Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, literature review, in-services, and workshops.

Additional Job Description:

MD/DO Board-eligible or certified in OB/GYN with State of New Mexico Medical License.
