Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services seeks a board-eligible or board-certified OB/GYN to join our full-scope practice in New Mexico. The role is part-time (FTE 0.50) and focuses on caring for women throughout all stages of life, including pregnancy and childbirth.

The successful candidate will meet with new patients, perform routine exams, and participate in call rotations while upholding high standards of patient care and professional growth within our established medical group.

Qualifications

  • Must be board-eligible or board-certified in OB/GYN and hold a New Mexico medical license.
  • Board certification/eligibility is required to practice in NM as OB/GYN.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with new patients to assess symptoms, needs, and/or problems.
  • Perform routine exams and check ups based on best practices.
  • Conduct follow-ups with patients to monitor and track their condition.
  • Monitor and treat patients during pregnancy and childbirth.
  • Participate in call rotation.
  • Make all professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen.
  • Manage and oversee the physician/patient relationship.
  • Participate in system-wide health management initiatives.
  • Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, literature review, in-services, and workshops.
