Job summary

Grand Lake Health System is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant or LPN to support OB/GYN services in Ohio. The role involves collaborating with providers and health team members, completing patient assessments, and documenting in the electronic medical record.

Flexibility in scheduling and strong interpersonal skills are essential. Prior EMR experience is preferred, with at least partial 1st shift hours and 56 hours per pay period. This at-will position complies with applicable laws.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or will be graduating within 6 months of hire.
• Certified Medical Assistant through AAMA or equivalent credentialing within 6 months of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Licensed LPN.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with providers and other medical staff to provide quality care and achieve outcomes.
• Supports clinical colleagues according to patient volumes/acuity.
• Completes clinical assessments and documents in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborates with physicians and health team in implementing physician orders.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
