Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Wooster Family Health Center is seeking a Medical Assistant - OB/GYN to join a dedicated team. You will support prenatal care, gynecologic services and coordinating patient information while working with experienced caregivers in a supportive environment.

This role requires completing an approved medical assisting program or equivalent military training, and BLS certification or the ability to obtain it during onboarding.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved medical assisting program or military training as a hospital corpsman (HM), Combat Medic (68W) or Medical Service Technician (4N0X1).
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross, obtained during the new hire period if not held.
• Completion of a clinical externship or extensive clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with screenings and treatments by updating health information and documenting care.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and examination areas.
• Perform administrative duties such as filing, scheduling, data entry and patient registration.

Education

Graduate from an approved medical assisting program

Military training (HM, 68W, 4N0X1)

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Clinical externship or extensive clinical experience
