Henry Ford Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for the OBGYN team in Dearborn, MI. You will greet patients, collect histories, record vitals, assist during exams, and handle administrative tasks to ensure a smooth visit.

The role supports providers and nursing leadership, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus and a schedule that includes weekdays and occasional Saturdays. Various MA qualifications are acceptable, including externship or years of experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of MA program with 160-hour externship.
• One year of clinical medical assisting in past five years.
• MA certification with five years of clinical experience or LPN or EMT/paramedic with clinical experience.
• Military trained medical personnel with clinical experience in past five years.
• Current BLS-C certification on hire or by end of orientation.
• EPIC EMR experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greet and escort patients to exam rooms, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Obtain and document accurate medical histories from patients.
• Measure and record vital signs for examinations or procedures.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Perform administrative tasks to support the clinical team and patient care.
