Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license in state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification required within 90 days.
• Other dept requirements may apply (ACLS, PALS, PEARS, NRP).

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per nursing policies and state laws.
• Performs assessments, planning, intervention and evaluation of care.
• Documents according to standards of care.
• Develops and executes patient plans of care as prescribed by physician or clinic policy.
• Provides education to patients and families.
• Participates in performance improvement activities.
