Job summary

MultiCare Health System, Inc. seeks a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) in Spokane, WA, to support physicians and APPs in a busy clinic. You will help manage patient flow, take vitals, assist with exams or treatments and collect specimens.

WA MA-C certification and current BLS are required; one year of healthcare experience preferred. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates. 1.0 FTE, Day shift, M-F.

Qualifications

• Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Organizing patient flow in collaboration with front office staff.
• Interviewing patients and obtaining vital signs.
• Assisting patients in preparing for exams or treatments.
• Performing specimen collection, including venipuncture.
• Administration of medications in compliance with WA regulations and competency.
• Relaying instructions to patients and families.
• Handling patient records and referrals; preparing forms.
