Job summary

Rooted Talent Solutions seeks a board-certified Obstetrics & Gynecology physician to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in outpatient and inpatient settings in California. The role includes obstetric care, perinatal services, and managing gynecologic conditions.

The physician will supervise learners, collaborate with the care team, and participate in quality improvement, regulatory audits, and community-based care.

Qualifications

• Board-certified OB/GYN with CA medical license.
• Experience in prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
• Ability to supervise learners and coordinate with the care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to female patients across reproductive life stages.
• Manage prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care; perform safe deliveries.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; prescribe medications and treatments.
• Provide outpatient and in‑hospital medical care; manage chronic conditions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and charting.
• Consult with the Medical Director on complex cases and coordinate referrals to specialists.
• Participate in clinic policy development, quality improvement, and regulatory audits.
• Serve as a preceptor for medical students and NP/PA students; support nursing staff.
• Participate in daily team huddles, staff meetings, and clinic improvement activities.
• Implement community‑based, patient‑centered medical home practices.
• Rotate between clinic sites as needed and perform duties assigned by the Medical Director.

Deliver high‑quality reproductive and perinatal services, manage chronic gynecologic conditions, supervise learners, and collaborate with the care team to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Schedule & Travel

• Mon–Fri, typical hours 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM; occasional weekends possible.
• On-call approximately 5–6 days per month.
• No travel required.
