Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in the U.S. is seeking a Medical Science Liaison specializing in obesity to serve as a scientific/clinical resource for healthcare providers, KOLs, and population health decision makers across IA, NE, and SD.

The MSL will advance scientific understanding of the obesity program, support clinical research sites, facilitate peer-to-peer engagement, and collaborate with internal teams to improve patient outcomes, with a field-based travel schedule within the territory.

Qualifications

• Doctorate (Ph.D., MD, DO, Pharm.D.) or Master’s with 3+ years in Medical Affairs.
• Bachelor’s with 5+ years in Medical Affairs.
• Preferred: 1+ years in biotech/pharma Medical Affairs with obesity/cardiometabolic focus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct peer discussions with healthcare professionals and investigators.
• Support clinical investigators and research sites with data and study coordination.
• Communicate clinical and economic data to stakeholders.
• Lead scientific congress activities and assist in speaker training.
• Maintain CRM updates and other administrative tasks.
• Build relationships and provide insights to internal teams.
