Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison focusing on obesity across OR, ID, MT, WY, WA. The role reports to the Obesity MSL Field Director and involves field-based scientific engagement with opinion leaders and healthcare providers to advance Amgen’s obesity portfolio.

The position requires a Doctorate or equivalent, with advanced Medical Affairs experience, and a track record in scientific exchange, data presentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree or equivalent required.
• Master’s degree with 3 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years Medical Affairs experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary scientific/clinical resource to OLs, PHDMs and other healthcare providers.
• Engage with clinical investigators and sites to support obesity pipeline.
• Communicate scientific data of clinical value to PHDMs and institutions to inform Amgen strategies.
• Lead and participate on project teams that support MSL strategies and tactics as delegated by MSL leadership.
• Support congress activities and speaker training as requested.
