Job summary

Amgen seeks an experienced Medical Science Liaison for obesity in the U.S. to serve as a primary scientific resource to Opinion Leaders, Population Health Decision Makers, and healthcare providers.

You will execute the Medical Affairs strategy and share accurate clinical information to improve patient outcomes. The role requires advanced degrees and Medical Affairs experience, with competitive compensation and flexible work options across a national footprint.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or higher in a life sciences field or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of Medical Affairs experience for Bachelor’s degree holders; 3+ years for Master’s; 0+ years for Doctorate with relevant field.
• Experience with communicating scientific data to healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary scientific/clinical resource to OLs, PHDMs, and healthcare providers.
• Execute Amgen Medical function and product strategy as directed by MSL leadership.
• Engage with investigators and healthcare professionals to discuss data and economic outcomes.
• Lead scientific exchanges and support sponsored research activities as needed.
• Collaborate across Amgen field roles to deliver a unified One Amgen experience.
