Global Business Ser. 4u is seeking an OBD Validation Engineer in Columbus, IN for a 1-3 year contract. The role covers hybrid vehicle work, calibration development, and CAN diagnostics.

50% hands-on vehicle work with bench simulations and PID controller tuning to validate features and tune performance. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 2+ years of related experience, with knowledge of OBD diagnostics and controller tuning.

This group takes on early software releases from the build integration team, and they utilize the software to calibrate/tune for existing features and ensure functionality. They will perform feedback on design or validation issues that don't meet requirements. They will support software builds that have been tuned successfully. Will perform CAN troubleshooting to ensure its properly functioning.

This position will be a hybrid position depending on what stage of the work they're in. 50% hands on vehicle work where they support controller, vehicle system, and requirement validation. They will perform bench simulation. Troubleshooting and tuning of vehicle tuning, PID controller tuning, and acceleration based controllers.
