Job summary

Stellantis seeks an On-Board Diagnostic Calibration Engineer in Michigan to develop OBD strategies for gas engine control systems. You will review designs, create test plans, and manage vehicle/test-bench resources while developing and validating compliant calibrations for propulsion programs.

You will work cross-functionally with hardware, controls and software teams, review INCA data to ensure diagnostic behavior, and plan milestones to achieve timely product launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in OBD or emissions calibration or controls.
• Proficient using INCA, Matlab and Simulink/Stateflow.
• Basic understanding of Internal combustion engine propulsion system hardware and function.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and business acumen.
• Self-motivated/proactive with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate both independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and database applications.
• Valid Driver License.
• Willingness to work in-vehicle & inside climatic test environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop new OBD strategies for gas engine control systems.
