Singing River Health System's Ocean Springs Hospital is seeking an Obstetrical Technician to support the Labor and Delivery team. You’ll provide basic nursing care, assist with surgical procedures, pass instruments, and help prepare the room for delivery while maintaining a sterile field.

Requires a High School diploma, Surgical Technician program preference, and BCLS; prior Surgical Technologist experience is preferred. This role involves rotating shifts and travel within the SRHS service area.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Surgical Technician program preferred.
• Current Surgical Technologist Certification preferred; BCLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year Surgical Technologist experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist and pass instruments during surgical procedures in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Prepare the room before surgery or delivery and maintain the sterile field.
• Perform routine clerical duties within the unit under supervision.
