MercyOne Genesis, part of Trinity Health, is seeking a Surgical Technician for the Davenport, IA area. The role involves scrub duties during intraoperative patient care under direct RN supervision, with adherence to center standards and mission.

Full-time schedule is 36 hours weekly with days and possible rotating call. Eligibility includes graduation from an accredited surgical technology program; CST certification preferred, or required within 18 months if working in Illinois.

We are looking to hire a Surgical Technician. The Surgical Technician functions in the scrub role during intraoperative patient care, doing so as a delegated technical function under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. The provision of care is consistent through adherence to standards and support of the philosophies of Genesis Medical Center. Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours per week Shift: Days (0700 - 1930) May include a rotating \"call\" schedule

General Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology; completion of surgical tech apprenticeship or military program. CST certification preferred but not required in Iowa. CST certification is required within 18-months of hire, if working in Illinois. No prior experience is required. BLS. Mandatory Reporter. Ability to work with diverse groups of people; ability to work under pressure and with a large degree of independence and accountability; and the ability to accept responsibility for the direction, control or planning of an activity. Adaptability to performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.
