Job summary

Grace Health seeks a Diagnostic Ultrasound Sonographer to perform ultrasonic procedures, acquire high-quality images, and support providers with timely reports. You will educate patients, operate equipment safely, and manage PACS archives in a team-driven environment.

Requirements include RDMS certification in Abdomen, OB/GYN, vascular, or echo and a high school diploma or equivalent; OB/GYN certification must be completed within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• RDMS certification in abdomen, OB/GYN, vascular, or echo.
• OB/GYN RDMS certification must be completed within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasonic diagnostic procedures per physician direction.
• Instructs patients to ensure cooperation and test accuracy.
• Follows safety standards during equipment use.
• Maintains quality imaging and equipment function.
• Uses PACS to archive studies and generate preliminary reports.
• Maintains exam rooms and orders ultrasound supplies.
• Collaborates with providers and team members.
