Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, Florida, is seeking an OB Scrub Tech – Per Diem. This role provides safe, patient-centered care for Women’s Services under RN/physician supervision, assists with vaginal deliveries, and scrubs for surgical procedures.

Per diem shifts require teamwork, professionalism, and commitment to service excellence. The OB scrub tech supports the nursing team, participates in unit activities, and upholds hospital policies and safety standards.

Qualificações

• High school graduate with ability to read, write, and basic medical terminology.
• Successful completion of Surgical Technologist course from an accredited program.
• Where required, CST mandatory (State Specific).
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Previous hospital experience preferred.
• Good communication skills to relate to customers.
• Must be able to perform EKGs.
• Computer skills, order entry and ADT functions.

Responsabilidades

• Provides safe, competent patient-centered care for Women's Services' patients under RN, physician or CNM guidance.
• Assists with vaginal deliveries and scrubs for surgical procedures for Women's Services patients.
• Participates as an active Nursing Team member on the assigned unit/department.
• Supports Service Excellence Standards with all customer groups.
