AdventHealth in Wesley Chapel, FL seeks an experienced RN for full-time night shift roles. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and adjust care plans, administer medications, educate patients and families, and coordinate with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes documentation, infection control, and ongoing professional development in a supportive healing ministry environment.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
Active RN license is required.
BLS certification required.
1+ year in acute care is preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of physiological, psychological, developmental and spiritual factors of patients.
Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
Administer medications and treatments safely per orders and protocols.
Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments and self-care.
Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and ensure teamwork.
Document patient information and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
Monitor infection control, safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Respond to code situations promptly to stabilize patients.
Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
