Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an OB/OR Technician to support the perioperative team in Labor and Delivery, assisting the Provider and RN during intraoperative care and aiding with patient hygiene and care needs.

The role requires BLS within 30 days, a Surgical Technology certificate, or CNA experience, and completion of Carle's training program. You will help maintain sterility, coordinate supplies, and support room turnover under supervision.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days (AHA)
• Certificate of Completion: Surgical Technology
• CNA experience or CNA coursework within past 24 months

Responsibilities

• Maintains sterile environment and asepsis.
• Assists in obstetrical procedures and prepares sterile field.
• Prepares instruments and assists with specimen collection and vital signs.
