Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health's Mercy Health – St. Joseph Warren Hospital in Warren, OH is seeking an Obstetrics (OB) Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver exceptional care for women and newborns, using strong assessment and leadership to guide patient status and care plans.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and active RN licensure, with BLS preferred and ACLS acceptable in lieu. OB/ED/CC experience and EPIC training are noted as preferred or optional.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS Basic Life Support (preferred upon hire) or ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS.
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification - National Certification Corporation (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Addresses the care provided to healthcare consumers in obstetric and women’s health.
• Provides episodic and inpatient obstetrical/women’s health nursing care as applicable.
• Administer medications safely per policy and procedure.
• Deliver care to women of all ages during pregnancy, birth, postpartum and related care.
