Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Labor & Delivery, Mom/Baby and NICU. This full-time role is primarily night shift with occasional day shifts based on unit needs.

The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using evidence-based practice, coordinate with the health team, supervise LPNs/CNAs and participate in clinical conferences to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN degree from an accredited program within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care.
• Current Montana RN license required.
• BLS certification on hire.
• PALS required within 9 months of hire / transfer.
• NRP neonatal resuscitation required within 12 months of hire.
• AHWONN intermediate fetal monitoring within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and families in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs.
