Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery, Mom/Baby (Nursery included) and NICU. The role is full-time with mostly night shifts and occasional day shifts to meet unit staffing needs.

Minimum qualifications include a BSN within 4 years unless extensive acute care experience, MT RN license, and required certifications (BLS, PALS, NRP, AHWONN). Intermountain Health offers a comprehensive benefits package and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• BSN degree from an accredited program within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care.
• Current Montana RN License.
• BLS, PALS within 9–12 months; NRP within 12 months; AHWONN Fetal Monitoring within 12 months.
• Preferred: National Certification in area of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and their families in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs.
• Participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines, policies and procedures.
