Job summary

Minimum qualifications include AMA-approved radiology/ultrasound training, ARDMS, MRT license, and CPR/BLS certification; OB/GYN ultrasound experience and EMR familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA-approved radiology and ultrasonography program.
• Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
• Licensed by the Mississippi State Board of Health as a Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT).
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams with patient safety and confidentiality.
• Operate independently with limited supervision and rotate across clinic locations as needed.
• Ensure accurate documentation of scans, orders, and EMR entries.
