Job summary

Tenet Physician Resources is seeking a skilled ultrasound technologist to prepare patients for examinations and perform obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound exams under physician directions. You will ensure safe operation of imaging equipment and educate patients on procedures.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years in an OB/GYN setting, ARDMS certification with OBGYN and fetal echocardiography credentials, CPR, and prefer cervical length certification. Position located in Texas.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nuclear medicine and registered or registry eligible as Ultrasound Technician.
• High school diploma/GED and completion of approved Ultrasound Tech program.
• 3 years of experience in OBGYN setting.
• ARDMS certification, OBGYN Certification and Fetal Echocardiography Certification; CPR certification required.
• CLEAR Certification for Cervical Length (preferred). NTQR Certification for Nuchal Translucency/Nasal bone (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Adheres to and supports Tenet Physician Resources mission and policies.
• Adheres to HIPAA compliance and confidentiality agreements.
• Understands ultrasound imaging equipment operation and documentation.
• Explains exam procedures to patients and assists with positioning.
• Performs obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound exams as directed.
• Maintains safety procedures for patients and staff.
• Maintains and cleans ultrasound equipment and room, and inventoriesSupplies.

Education

Graduate of an approved school of nuclear medicine and registered or registry eligible as Ultrasound Technician
