Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience required.
• MIRT License
• Ultrasound Tech – RDMS or eligible; RVT or RVT eligible where applicable.
• CPR certified within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Review medical record for patient history and supporting clinical data.
• Explain procedure to patient; provide patient support and comfort.
• Select equipment and imaging parameters to facilitate optimum diagnostic studies.
• Operate ultrasound equipment to perform examination.
• Present study to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and perform basic quality control.
