Job summary

Advantia Health seeks a Sonographer to join Simmonds, Martin, & Helmbrecht. The role requires strong patient service, excellent communication, and precise ultrasound performance including OB/GYN and saline infused studies. You will chart results, coordinate with physicians, and ensure timely patient flow.

Qualifications include a CAAHEP-accredited degree and ARDMS OB/GYN certification; 1+ year experience preferred. Competitive benefits provided in a team-focused practice across MD offices.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography from a CAAHEP accredited school.
• Current ARDMS certification with OB/GYN specialty required.
• 1+ years of sonography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, maintain, and control all ultrasound equipment.
• Perform OB, Anatomy and Growth ultrasound, and biophysical exams.
• Dopplers and cx lengths; GYN scans including saline infused sonohysterograms.
• Capture sonogram still images and video for physicians and patients.
• Notify physicians of abnormalities and chart ultrasound results.
• Soothe and reassure nervous patients; see patients on time and reschedule as needed.
