Job summary

Banner Health's OB-GYN ultrasound team seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to perform obstetric and gynecologic imaging, including early pregnancy assessments and fetal anatomy scans. You will work closely with providers to obtain diagnostic images, document findings, and educate patients throughout the imaging process.

The role emphasizes maintaining equipment, coordinating schedules, and supporting high-quality women’s healthcare in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Requires national certification in the area of specialty from ARDMS or CCI.
• Uncertified hires who are Registry eligible must obtain certification within 12 months of hire.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs prescribed ultrasound procedures following orders and department protocols.
• Educates patients and families about procedures and answers questions.
• Produces high-quality images and documents findings accurately for interpretation.
• Maintains equipment and ensures safety and sanitary standards.
• Monitors workflow and coordinates imaging schedules to avoid interruptions.
