Lifepoint Health's Centerpoint Health-Winchester is seeking a part-time Ultrasound Technician to support OB and other ultrasound services in our Winchester clinic. You will perform ultrasound studies across abdominal, OB, vascular, pelvic, breast, and other areas, ensuring high-quality images for radiologist interpretation.

The role requires an associates degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and ARRT/DMS certification, with BLS within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or School of Radiology required.
• Experience: One year of diagnostic medical sonography experience preferred.
• License: ARRT/DMS certification; BLS required within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Provides quality ultrasound studies including abdominal, OB, vascular, neonatal, pelvic, breast, and small parts exams for interpretation by the radiologist.
• Performs sonographic examinations and procedures as requested by the referring physician.
• Provides age-appropriate care to patients across the lifespan.
• Maintains supplies and ensures a clean, orderly work area; notifies supervisor of needed items.
• Maintains and calibrates equipment to ensure accuracy and longevity.
• Acts as a consultant and educational resource for physicians and staff regarding appropriateness and accuracy of scans.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
