Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in New Jersey is seeking an Ultrasound Technician, NTC to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures including Level II and fetal studies, assisting physicians in identifying anatomical abnormalities. Applicants should graduate from an approved ultrasound program, have OB/GYN ultrasound experience, and hold ARDMS with Nuchal Translucency certification within 90 days.

Maternal Fetal Medicine experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved Ultrasound School.
• 2 years allied health training.
• 1 year OB/GYN ultrasound experience.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certification.
• Nuchal Translucency certification within 90 days.
• BLS certification (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures per department format.
• Assist physicians with procedures and biopsies.
• Prepare patients and equipment; maintain records.
• Provide instruction to students and residents.
• Adhere to safety and infection control policies.
