Job summary

Core Physicians, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking an Ultrasound Technician to perform ultrasound examinations using real-time imaging equipment in our Exeter, NH location. You will support patient care in a collaborative, physician-led environment.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's degree or equivalent, with RDMS/MIRT eligibility and CPR certification within 90 days of hire. Responsibilities include patient prep, equipment operation, and coordination with Radiologists,

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience required.
• MIRT License required.
• RDMS (or eligible) certification preferred.
• RVT or RVT eligible where applicable.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Review medical record for patient history and supporting clinical data; explain procedure to patient; provide comfort.
• Operate ultrasound equipment to perform examinations and obtain optimal studies.
• Maintain quality control and serviceability of ultrasound equipment.
• Present study to Radiologist for interpretation and assist with interpretation.
• Order and maintain supplies; ensure clean and organized ultrasound suites.
