Women’s Care PC is seeking an OBGYN Triage Nurse (LPN) to provide expert clinical care and extensive triage by telephone. You will perform NSTs, prepare patients for examinations, and assist physicians during procedures while maintaining accurate records and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Ability to obtain and maintain BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong bedside manner and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work in a stressful, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to communicate with coworkers, providers, and patients in a courteous and effective manner.
• Ability to use a computer and enter data in electronic medical record system, eCW a plus.
• Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual.

Aufgaben

• Triage OB/GYN patients by phone and call patients with test results.
• Perform fetal non-stress tests (NST) and assist physicians during procedures.
• Record medical history, vital signs, and patient information.
• Prepare patients for examinations and maintain sterile instruments.
• Administer medications and authorize refills as directed.
• Educate patients and explain instructions per the provider.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and professional conduct.
• Contribute to a collaborative team and participate in professional development.
