Women's Care, the leading women's health group in the United States, is hiring an OBGYN Triage Nurse (LPN). This role provides extensive OB/GYN triage by telephone, conducts fetal NSTs, and supports procedures.

You will document medical history, record vital signs, assist physicians, administer medications, perform phlebotomy when needed, and educate patients while upholding HIPAA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current licensure.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain and maintain BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong bedside manner and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a stressful, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficient in computer data entry in EMR (eCW a plus).
• Dependent, reliable, and punctual.
• Ability to communicate with coworkers, providers, and patients.

Responsabilités

• Performs extensive OB/GYN triage by phone and calls patients with test results.
• Performs fetal NST.
• Prepares patients for examination and assists physician during treatment/procedures.
• Records patients' medical history and vital signs.
• Where applicable, performs phlebotomy, injections and other specimen collection.
• Prepares and administers medications and authorizes refills.
• Educates patients and ensures HIPAA compliance.
• Maintains a safe, secure work environment and sterilizes instruments.
• Represents the office professionally and cooperatively.
• Participates in team activities and professional development.
